IDF is coming up, and other than Shoma, Nathan really has no competition (sorry, Tomoki :p). Very eager to see his programs again, and hopefully he doesn't pop this time ;) go, go Rocketman!
 
I feel IDF is pretty stacked considering. Kevin Amoyz, Shoma and Samarin could all do well.

I suspect a skate kind of like how he did at SA. Hopefully without the pops!

Agreed, it's not like he has too much room for mistakes or sloppiness, especially if one or more of the other guys has a good skate. He should be abe to beat Kevin in the FS either way, but if Samarin or Shoma pull out several successful quads...

But anyway, I'm super happy to see him skate again so soon, even though it also means that he had no time to improve or work on his programs some more. I'm just craving another La Boheme, this time hopefully better attuned, because it looks so pretty!
I'm also already dreading the long break between IDF and GPF, should he qualify :/.
 
Haven’t visited this thread since March and I FINALLY caught up lol. What a ride. This is way late but congrats to Nathan having an undefeated season last season. Knew my boy could do it.

About IDF...he’ll be fine lol. I kinda like that you guys are humble about his chances even now and don’t get too cocky like other fanbases but I’m pretty confident he’ll be alright. Even though it’s around midterms, that means he’ll have thanksgiving break off right? So he can go back to Raf and get more preparation for GPF (and more rest) than he had last year.

Reading the Russian interview (thanks for the updates btw), he does sound a bit stressed with school (6 to 12 hours for assignments in a bit intense lol) but he just has to get through IDF and he’ll be able to just focus on school until GPF and get a break in between. I think in that sense, the scheduling works out better for him this year in that 2nd year seems to take up more of his time with studying so better to get competitions out of the way earlier.
 
Hi I've enjoyed watching Nathan since the 2018 Worlds (around the time I got into FS). I've been really impressed by his sportsmanship and humbleness despite his huge success in skating. I find it amazing how he's been able to balance skating and college so well. I like his programs this season and I'm looking forward to seeing him at GP IDF!
