That's something that can I agree with. But the implication that they were afraid of some kind of under-rotations calls is wrong I think.
So a good skating at Rusnat garantes you a spot on the national team even if you popped the other competitions ?
Compared to Kostornaja, medvedeva is very slow and boring to watch.
Trusova was clearly better today.
PCS scoring was a shame as always.

Alena 16, Zhenia 20. Two different girls with different technics and styles and there’s also a gap age. I don’t even know why you are comparing them. They are even not rivals.

My point was, good on them to take her state in consideration, like they did at jWorlds, especially in times when < have been called a lot, rightfully or not. I'm aware it's not because of the calls.

The didn't remove it because of calls on under-rotations. The times with under-rotations has ended or paused.

Because she needs something to hate or to make zhenya out to be bad. What else do they need in this thread to speak badly about her? I mean it's not as if many in here do not try it at any given time [emoji848][emoji2356][emoji848]

The member was at Junior Worlds last year and saw Trusova's training before the competition and the morning one. Knows well that the change has nothing o do with under rotations. It was not stable enough prior to competition and changed. The same happened here. So why to imply some calls with under rotations from previous GPs with that change? I just pointed out that.

Man, I just said that I'm aware it's not because of that. I wasn't even implying it. I just said that it's a good idea that they did since apparently she was having trouble with it in practice, much like last junior worlds.

Sasha did get a UR call on her 3Lz-3Lo at Japan open earlier this season, so although it didn’t count officially, she (like all skaters) can UR a jump if she’s a little bit off. And if she is in fact sick, it makes a lot of sense not to risk it, as loop combos require perfect timing to get up into the 2nd jump.
I don’t think a 2 point deficit is going to stop her from winning the event by quite a large margin if she skates her LP similarly to her performances so far this season.

Actually it is not. Edges, stroking, one foot skating and generating speed effortlessly are... but speed does not necessarily mean "very fast"
Also speed isn't the only way to skate well and certainly has not much to do with rotation unless you mean speed of rotation itself.
Liza Tuktamysheva skates slowly but can do 3As
Having speed doesn’t mean having control and technic.
There was the order to win the OGM and who won specifically wasn't a matter. Or prepare yourself for consequences.
The dictatorship rules. Don't look for any

I don't want to dig into politics, but many people from ex dictatorship countries prefer the good old days. Some people from more liberal countries may learn the same ideas well.
Depends on how much money you may do now? This way or that way doesn't matter.
