2026-27 Russian Women's Figure Skating

Four spots means one spots for each discipline each. Not four spots for just ladies.
That’s it!!
Just one spot per discipline and they don’t even get a chance to skate at another event to try to qualify for finals. Wow!!

@AlexBreeze what does Russia have to do to get max spots. If their entries win Junior worlds, is this enough for max spots and three spots at Worlds. Is silver enough for three spots too and a good number of spots? I guess Junior Worlds will be the focus.

Also, if I was an international junior athlete, I would avoid this JGP as gold will be difficult to achieve. Especially, if I’m a contender for JGP finals.

I miss the competition Russian athletes bring to the international scene

There will be another stage with one spot per discipline. It hasn't been announced by ISU yet but in Russia's calendar it's Thailand.

Top 3 finish in singles and ID, top 4 finish in pairs.

Oh, i am sad. Kostyleva sure earned that assignment, but if she is injured... Dzepka then, I hope. I can't wait for junior test skates. Of course, certain posters did everything they could to have the main thread closed, so it is impossible to discuss the test skates for all disciplines until National events forum has a test thread.
I've just started the junior test skates thread

List of girls to choose from...
