I follow her and teamzagitova on instagram. I`ve been pretty upset about the announcement of her "break". I know you probably all hate talking about this again, but do you really think that she`ll come back? She has shows pretty much all through the first half of 2020, has to prepare for her exams and graduate and then plans to go to university/ an institute...I just wonder when she`s gonna have the time to learn those necessary new jumps :(

I really do think she'll come back to competitions at some point, but like egoshina said, only time will tell. For now, I'm enjoying all the cool content we're getting and seeing Alina explore and grow in a different side of skating.
Whatever she decides to do, if she's happy, I'm happy :)
 
You're right that's the way to look at it :) (Even though, I'd really like for her to continue to compete...imagine an epic comeback :love: )

That's impressive!

I think today was the day that Channel 1 filmed the show for their broadcast on January 8th? I hope so because Alina hit everything perfectly. She and Ondrej looked very 'together' in their pair skating parts.

I'm excited to see the TV show :)

The massive pain for the 2018 Olympic champion Alina Zagitova is due, first of all, to her victory at the Games in Pyeongchang, and it is not surprising that the figure skater’s decision to suspend her career caused a great stir, Russian silver medalist Artur Danielyan told RIA Novosti.

Seventeen-year-old Zagitova performed in competition in the first half of the current season, but in December announced the suspension of her career.
