Alina Zagitova

From Alina's stories:

"Whether it be a peace sign or an air kiss from afar, we all have the ability to share virtual acts of kindness to brighten someone’s day.
As SHISEIDO’s ambassador, I am so honored to share this beautiful message to all of you.
Tag your friends in the comments below and share this post to continue to spread kindness without contact in this difficult time.
Also, please check out my stories for the original shiseido origami animation filter.

Shiseido: spread kindness without contact

You’re right :) I just don’t know if I’m annoyed or amazed that she can’t help herself :D
like, let it go, let it go ~

Either she remembered Alina's birthday was coming up or someone must have reminded her that Alina is the reigning World Champion.

Still. :)

TAT never fails to remind me that there is a very small part of me that wants Alina to continue her competitive skating career solely to see how very much certain persons will be annoyed. :dev3:

Let the concern-trolling begin!

Last season I felt like a certain segment of the figure skating judges at the GP competitions were sending Alina a 'thank you, next' message. :gaah: It seemed like they were more than ready to move on to the new era of the " 3As ". It may happen again this season. (assuming she comes back) If it does...... That will suck. :scowl:

But ........ If she can stay in the game, if she can stay near the top -

I still have hope for a possible medal in Beijing IF she can make the Olympic Team. I say this because of the judging at the 2018 Olympics. A certain faction of judges did everything they could for Alina not to win Gold. But the other judges balanced it out and Math did the rest.

I still remember Yulia saying on the broadcast she 'didn't think this would be allowed to happen' when Alina won. And Natalia Bestiamanova saying in an interview afterwards something to the effect of 'the judges should have been talked to beforehand'. Still not sure exactly what she was implying there. It is probably for the best if we don't discuss it here. Or anywhere else. It's all in the past.

My point is - anything can happen with the judging at the Olympics. It's not as easy to control as the judging at a GP event. So if she can get there, and deliver, there is every reason to hope. :)

Lots of 'ifs' but this is FS. 'Ifs' are what we do. :)

I don't know how many people are "hanging around here now,
but you might want to go to Alina's IG.

She is doing some sort of "live" workout.
Masaru is just lying around in the foreground.
And Daniil is on another screen in his home doing the same workout.

Both were looking great, though Daniil Markovich might need to visit the barbershop.

Alina carefully maintaining her public image. The younger skaters did IG Lives first, now Alina follows. Smart move with the uncertainties over coming season still looming over the sport.

Barbershops in the USA are closed. Maybe in Russia too?

He can put a bowl over his head and cut his hair that way.
Like "Moe" on the Three Stooges.

Or he can buy some clippers and give himself a buzz-cut.
Like "Curly" on the Three Stooges.

Alina told in the Live she studies hard every day.

She is used to rising early and starts her workouts at 8 in the morning.
Training, study, training, study is the rhythm of her working day.

In the afternoon, she studies.
Mathematics are among her favourite subjects. She doesn’t like biology very much, she admitted honestly.

Daniil Markovich is opposed to the leveling of jump values. He thinks the Lutz should remain better rewarded.

He is working with Alina on new music, soon to be disclosed.
