But he actually seemwd to have learned from this. But eteri doesnt seem to learn or want to learn, she has to talk badly about almsot every skater who is well known when they leave, from yulia , to zhenya to sasha , to now aljona, i could have understood if she did it like once with yulia but not 4 or more times.

I don’t think Brian acted poorly when Yuna left, I think he was just being extremely honest.

I always find when I watch Plushenko it is less about his artistry and more about his sheer charisma. He just has that "look at me" quality that is unteachable. I really wish he could help someone like Samarin who has beautiful jumps but little on ice performance quality. Evgeni was nearly always "on" in a way that hard to quantify. Natural performer maybe?

Everyone has own taste. For me and for his tons of fans he is artistry with great charisma, and he was always "on"... Yes, he is not like Hanyu or Lambiel thanks God he is not! But he has artistry on different way and the judges also thought that. What is artistry? Is there one type of artistry? I have seen live Lambiel and Plushenko at Kings on ice show...Plushenko was much more impressive as Lambiel. The crowd also felt it not just me.

Roberto Bolle one of the greatest ballet dancers in last decades about Plushenko:

"Apart from the competition, that was very exciting, is not just the quality of exercise that excite me. His real strength comes from charisma, personality, by the presence on ice. He demonstrates how much he’s good, by showing the high consideration has about himself, and this effects his opponents. You could see that others were not so sure, he told them right away, from the first movement: "I am the number one”.

"There are many skaters who have a strong body, and many are flexable and have softness and extreme extensibility in their movement. Honestly, I’m not an expert, I don’t notice one element that stands out the Russian. It is his artistic vision, the quality of dance and of how he presents himself , he has completeness."

Maya Plisetskaya the world famous ballerina:

Plushenko was her favorite

"He skates like an artist who knows that he is the best. Other skaters think that they are good too, but they have doubts and get nervous. Plushenko on the contrary always knows that he is much better than others, and he convinces all of us in it. He not just "works" on ice, he dances on ice masterly, and that is a wonderful thing to see."

"He looks like Godunov, the Russian ballet dancer. The same type- tall, handsome, self-confident, with long waving in the wind and pirouettes blond hair. In ballet he would be perfect at parts performed by Godunov. He has the temperament and virtuosity for that."

Yuri Smekalov
: ( the choreographer of the Nijinsky program and he is the choreographer of Liza Tukta prgram in this year.

"Suppose take Plushenko. His charisma is so powerful that no matter what image of Jack chose, “he includes himself,” his inner strength and inner euphoria begins. It’s so captivates the audience, they forget that even a given image, which invested director. To them it does not matter. With Eugene in this sense simply to work…"

Nikolay Tsiskaridze ex principal dancer and Sergei Filin ex Bolshoi director also praised his artistic ability.

I don't know how can they work together I responded to that poster who wrote he has no artistry. That's all.

The problem with Eteri might be that she treats all her students the same. But the students aren't the same. Brian understood that Javi needed different things than Yuzuru. Maybe time for Eteri and her team to understand that their students will need different things with time, and sometimes, it's good to accommodate them a little. If all they hear is no, it's no wonder they leave.

Social media is definitely not your friend during these moments when your emotions are running high.

I'm sure Brian learned from his experience with Yuna. I also believe that Frank Carroll would not throw Gracie Gold's team USA jacket in the trash given a second chance at that moment.

But Aliona left two weeks ago, surely that should be enough time to process the news and control one‘s emotions? I get that it‘s hard to lose athletes, it hurts and it‘s a blow to the ego. But why not just let a social media manager handle this then, if it‘s too difficult? There‘s many ways she wouldn‘t have to deal with this. But it‘s happened too many times before and she‘s had two weeks to decide on her reaction. This looks like a deliberate choice. “Emotions“ stopped being a credible argument a while ago, imho at least.

As for the other stuff: No coach is perfect. Not Brian Orser. Certainly not Frank Carroll. They‘ve both done things that have made me go:  :dev2: before. And while these actions (Brian with that messy Yuna split, Frank with how he seemed to really have hurt Gracie) were terrible, there has not been a continued, systematic slander of literal children in the media. OVER YEARS. I just can‘t with that. It‘s okay to be disappointed and even feel betrayed, Eteri is human too. But then, for heaven‘s sake, just refuse to comment or let a manager/spokesperson deal with this. Aliona’s already had to close her comments on instagram because of the hate she was getting. It‘s just unbelievable. I so was hoping Eteri‘s post was fake...

She is not a neurosurgeon yet and won't be that "soon" either. As of now, it's just a dream of a 16 yo. Dreams can change or don't become true for whatever reason. Been there done that.
The education and training to become a neurosurgeon is rigorous and extensive and includes the completion of:

Four years of pre-medical education at a college or university, four years of medical school resulting in an M.D. or D.O. degree, one year internship in general surgery, five to seven years in a neurosurgery residency program.

You have to come that far first. You can't just claim that she is almost there if she didn't even start yet xD

Sorry, but do you have a knowledge how Russian school system work? Because I know for sure not every country have the same system to become a specialist as US has...

Evgeni Plushenko: after Kostornaya, expect other sensations

- Evgeny, Kostornaya in your group, following Alexandra Trusova - is this a victory for you or a terrible responsibility?
- For any coach, such athletes are a great responsibility. As for Trusova, Kostornaya is a big responsibility. We are ready for it. My team, Seryozha Rozanov, we are all glad that athletes are coming to us.
- Who is the initiator of the transition?
- Alena herself. Two weeks ago, she expressed a desire to join my and Serezha's group, to which I replied: "Why not, if this is your balanced decision. If this is an adult decision, we are ready to take you and work with you."
- Hasn't the conversation about the transition been going on since May?
- This is complete nonsense. I don't know, Alena came to me with this initiative two weeks ago.
- Was there no initiative on your part regarding its transition?
- Of course not. I had no initiatives for Alena Kostornaya. We didn't communicate, we didn't even know each other. I saw Alena on TV, watched her at competitions, but we never crossed paths together.
- But after the transition of Trusova, you talked about the upcoming sensations.
- And now I say that there will still be sensations.
- After the arrival of Kostornaya?
- Sure. Even then I meant that very good athletes would come to us.
- And now what sensations can there be? Well, everything seems to be already ...
- There are a lot of people willing.
- If we are talking about those skaters who will pull on a sensation, then right now we will count them on the fingers of one hand.
- Just like that.
- This is Anna Shcherbakova, Alina Zagitova, Evgenia Medvedeva. And that's all.
- This is not enough? Or do you want twenty people to cross over and it will be a sensation? The doors of my school are always open. We are open to dialogue and ready to work with any athlete.
- That is, out of the three people I have listed, someone else can go to you?
- Well, someone might do it. But there will be sensations while this is just the beginning. There are a lot of amazing athletes in the world of figure skating.
- Not so much.
- I think that's enough. And I'm not talking about foreigners.
- Tutberidze wrote on Instagram: "And now from Alena we have received a whole list of girls non grata." That is, those girls with whom Kostornaya did not want to train.
- This is complete nonsense, she was ready to train with everyone. She has no problems, she is ready to work with everyone, she takes all athletes very positively. She understands that sparring partners are needed, and she is ready to be on the ice with everyone.
- Kostornaya and Trusova will be on the same ice?
- I think this is correct. You see, we have the opportunity to skate on different sites, because I have enough ice. We will analyze this situation, because we have not yet started work. Let's see if we, the coaches, have time to work with them or not. If we do not keep up, then we will divide them. If we need to we will connect. We are very flexible in this regard.
- How will they "tear apart" Rozanov?
- You are now talking some kind of nonsense. Rozanov trains and coached many athletes, and everything was fine. Alexei Nikolaevich Mishin coaches Elizaveta Tuktamysheva, Sofya Samodurova, and now Mikhail Kolyada on the same ice.
- Did Trusova have a requirement that she comes to you with Rozanov, who will work with girls from a different age category, and from the older ones only with her?
- There were no such requirements.
- Alena said why is she coming to you?
- She wanted changes, she sees that we are a strong team, she wants to grow further, learn quadruple jumps, wants to be given beautiful and interesting programs. She wants to completely change the team. In Russia, we have such an attitude to transitions, as if something incredible had happened. This is a normal situation. This means that Alena could not work there, something did not suit her there. Maybe an attitude. I would not want to inflate this story. The athlete has made a decision to go - please. The Federation does not mind, parents do not mind, Alena agrees, this is her initiative. We supported this initiative and intend to move forward.
- Will she financially benefit from this transition?
- What does finance have to do with it? Was she getting something there? We didn't even talk about finance with her. Her goal is sports.
- Didn't you say that she will have sponsors, will there be new shows? ...
- Generally it was not discussed. Its goal, I repeat, is sports, the Olympic Games.
- Programs have already been delivered to her. Will you change?
- One hundred percent. Of course, we will change and make ours. What I've seen on Instagram from her recent programs is just awful. Alena doesn't like it, she said it herself.
- Wow. But her coach-choreographer Daniil Gleichengauz said that Kostornaya enjoys these programs.
- Maybe Gleichengauz would like to see this, but the athlete himself says the opposite.

Coem on eteri knew exactly what reactions her so called post would bring same as she knew what the reaftions against zhenya would be when she did give personal informations to the media. She does it deliberately and no this time my opinion cantbe changed to that this is just a post ebcause she is emotional. For gods sake she is or should be a mature adult woman in her mid fortys then she should also act like it and not like someone took a doll from a toddler ehose know throwing a trantum because it lost its doll. Nope she knew exactly that aljona would get a lot of hate same with the others like sasha, zhenya and yulia.

OMG! Everyone talks differently...:drama:

And I apparently missed a part. Left this little gem out:

She already has programs. Will you change them?
- One hundred percent. Of course, we will change and make ours. What I've seen on Instagram from her recent programs is just awful. Alena doesn't like it, she said it herself.
