Alina Zagitova

ah, I like that the post puts the record straight, instead of twisting everything. I am afraid we might go off-topic (of this thread), so very briefly but just one time :):
1. The first sentence, which is simple yet accurately characterized the whole chain of events.
2. the use of "pilferer" vs "thief". Yes, those actions/behaviours are low, sort of "small".
3. "EG never ever talks about any other group or team in a negative light." - this is "big", or "grand". Nowadays people are used to all those nonsense, but went mad immediately if Eteri team ever dares to say anything.
4. Last and most importantly, "Alina's mentality and xxx's mentality are very very different. Thank God for that".
Thank you. I kind of like the word pilferer better than thief anyway it's not as harsh and I'm not a very harsh person. :) ;)

Alinas mind and emotional consistency is remarkable. That someone else has posted it helps her stay out of the way of nonsense between highly emotional incidents take place between teams and coaches.

That's TeamTutberidze's and Plushenko's problems not Alina's, that's what I said. I couldn't do it more simple. Regarding Alina, I didn't like the she was dragged to this, which I consider very bad for her. For the other skaters and people you are referring to, thanks god they have FF, Russian ladies thread, coaching team threads plenty of places to go and discus it. Anyway I think I spent more words I wanted on this.
And then you spent more words writing about it after this with flanker. The reality is there's a very fine line with Fan Fest material or not. I think most of us think if it involves Alina it can be discussed here. But yes Alina was a pawn in this game between PA and TT. She stays classy all the time and I think that's why a lot of us like her besides being an all-time great figure skater.

lts amost impossible to stay classy all the time and this is even more impressive where Alina is concerned because so many people have come after her since won the Olympics.

Plushenko's school is in debts to their ears. He needs big names like Alina. I don't blame him (or Rudkovskaya) for wanting such a big name in his school that will attract other skaters, money etc, I blame him for stating I don't do such thing while doing it. And if Alina receives offers that are denied, than why not to publish them? She's not just passive object without her own will.
Yes I'm glad Alina did not go to PA I don't know how many times they've tried to recruit her. Alina is a huge name and as you pointed out flanker the plushenko academy is in debt and I did not know that but that means he's going to need all the big-name he can gett. Oh he won't be losing his millions on his Academy it will be his financial backers since it's a private Academy funded privately on like sambo-70 where Alina trains that is state funded.

And I mentioned Alina a few times to make this FanFest worthy.

Alina asking "how we are doing?". Waiting the :poop: -storm to pass and continue with our lives.
Usually you can count on a 72 hour waiting period before the attention shifts to the next new thing, but Russian FS drama is an entity unto itself. It's entirely possible that this won't even last another 24 hours before it is eclipsed by something else. In an ideal world this 'something else' will have nothing to do with Alina. Unless it is something wonderful. :)

Beautiful girl, she has perfect face.
I don't know if it is proper to talk about it, but after seeing the response of Plushenko's wife, I just want to shout out again 'Can you guys behave like adults?'
It seems like our princess lives in another planet where only sunshine and happiness exist, no drama queens and kings, no ridiculous debates, no insane media, no psychos...:ROFLMAO:

I think these people have proved on multiple occasions that they cannot behave like adults. My hope for Alina is that she is learning from their example of what not to do and say. Hopefully, she never behaves like some of these people.

On a positive note, since we are in a fan-fest after all, this entire fiasco is giving the appearance that all of Rus Ladies RS revolves around Alina. This is not actually true. I don't even know if she will compete this season, or ever again. But for all the pronouncements about her being finished, over, done, retired, not good for anything but shows - there sure is a lot of hysteria from all sides about her.

At this point I'm sure it is about money more than medals, but it certainly does prove her continued relevance in the world of skating/entertainment and the current media circus du jour.

Alina is pretty much still the most relevant/prominent russian lady figure skater. The media attention, the federation's actions, sponsors activity and the army of loyal fans support this.

Everything she has achieved until now and future achievements will keep her relevant for many more years, even if she doesn't compete in the near future and even if she retires.🙂

Love your avatar, lopsilceci. I might have my opinions about Navka as a person, but giving the credit where it’s due, she made a very good show. Alina looked wonderful there. The dresses, decorations, songs and cast - exactly what an olympic champion like Alina deserves.

Averbukh about Zagitova in the "Ice Age": "Alina learnt the script until midnight. This is the perfectionism that both she and Tutberidze have "

The producer of the Ice Age show Ilya Averbukh shared his opinion on how the Olympic champion in figure skating Alina Zagitova copes with the role of the host of the project.

“It only seems from the outside that the work of the presenter is quite simple, you take the microphone, enter the frame and say some memorized text. In fact, the host is the one who leads. This is a big profession, and being a leader means going a long way, the same as in sports.

You cannot first become an Olympic champion, like Zagitova, and suddenly, in two seconds, become a presenter. Although we always set the bar high. The main thing is that Alina, as a talented and comprehensively developed person, wants to learn this business. She trains daily with an elocution specialist, gaining experience. Yes, these are the first steps for Zagitova. And it could be that something is not working out, yet. But the charm that the girl has is already working for her.

I am sure that with each recording, with each new episode, Alina will grow. You know, she sat here yesterday until midnight and studied the script. This is the same hardening/endurance training that was given to Zagitova at the rink. This is Eteri Tutberidze, the same perfectionism that they both have, it can be traced here too.

I think that now our main task is, of course, to support Alina and say that everything is fine. She will feel confident and it will be cool! " - said Averbukh
