Looks like no OD thread, starting on this one:

Weaver/Poje were boring to me. I did not find their performane enticing at all. Dissapointing. They both stumbled on twizzles too.

Poor Weaver/Poje look like they might drop even more. It will be interesting if McCurdy and Coreno stay ahead of them.

This Russian team on now fell both on a lift, and stumbled twice on the same twizzle sequence. Their program is really frantic, they cant handle it it looks like. They will drop way down I predict.

Gregory/Petuhkov are skating now, they are skating to Lord of the Dance music.

I like the music, but Gregory's costume is a bit too much bling to my taste. (Still much more toned down that the majority of dance costumes, though...)

I rather liked the choreo. :)

Wow what a low score, Tonichelle wont be happy. :frown: Maybe I missed something, I did notice anything they did wrong.

Anna CAPPELLINI / Luca LANOTTE are skating now. They are a surprise 2nd after the compulsories.

Not to be mean but I hated that performance. It was so frenetic and out of control. I would place that below the CARRON / JOST
, Gregory/Petuhkov, and BOBROVA / SOLOVIEV but the judging has been strange so far.

Not looking good for gregory and Petukhov........Competition at U.S. Nationals is going to be fierce. They will need to step it up if they want to go to Worlds.

Well, that was fun. Step sequence and twizzles need to be worked on, but very nice lifts and a lot of excitement through the performance.

Well the judges disagreed with me. They loved the Italians and they now have a virtual lock on silver. The bronze will be a real battle. This is the 2nd straight GP event with very surprising results, and both times not in a good way for the Americans.

I don't think them stepping it up is the only thing that will need to happen.
