Yeah so, I somehow FORGOT to hand in any predictions. But I doubt I would have earned a lot of points.

I would have gladly walked away with no medals here because most of my predictions were my worst case "well-at-least-I'll-get-a-medal-if-my-faves-don't" scenario and I am VERY happy I did not medal in most events and did poorly in the ones I did! Some really great events here. Unexpected winners in most, but much better vibes than Beijing.

• Joint antepenultimate position in Ladies with 15 points
• Joint last position in Men with 10 points
• Joint Bronze Medallist in Pairs with 55 points
• Last position in Ice Dance with 5 points
• Joint penultimate position in Team Event with 40 points
• Last position overall with 125 points

No prizes for guessing which category I didn't throw caution to the wind with!

Actually, now that I see my scores, I wish I had taken more risks. If I had gone with what I wanted to rather than leaving in the favourites for the Gold Medal, I wouldn't have finished last in Men and Ice Dance!

I shied away from leaving Laurence FOURNIER BEAUDRY / Guillaume CIZERON and Madison CHOCK / Evan BATES out completely, and instead put them into 4th and 5th as a safety net. But I didn't end up getting any points from them anyway, so I could have put in who I wanted to. In fact, if I had, I would have got full points from Charlène GUIGNARD / Marco FABBRI! Admittedly, I would have got nothing from Evgeniia LOPAREVA / Geoffrey BRISSAUD.

And if I had put Ilia MALININ in 3rd like I was going to, I would have got full points from Yuma KAGIYAMA!

But, hey. You never know what is going to happen. Ice is slippery. And pressure is heavy.
