I guess you mean the 1TV team cup. It will happen after Olympics prior to Worlds. There is no information if the captains will be the same next year.

This is just my personal opinion, (and I'm not happy about it): it almost feels like even though Alina can't be forbidden to try the results are already a foregone conclusion.Either she gets injured like last summer and we get another round of 'I told you so' articles from TAT, Zhulin and Gorshkov. Or she can't perfect a triple axel and/or multiple quads and we get another round of 'I told you so' articles. There are no words for how much I want to be wrong about both of these scenarios.
I think you are right on this. But if Alina was to go for 3A and quads... You don't need to wait Novogorsk for that she could have tried it during all last season period. With her pace and conditions. Now it's difficult since the focus will be on other things. If they know how to train 3A and quads to a post puberty girl after all. Which we don't have an example to assume that they can. But Dudakov looks that he knows his job.

Well hello everyone, I have been lurking here awhile so may as well introduce myself. Proud son of Greek immigrants born in Canada now living and working in Geneva Switzerland. In the academic and NGO sector. Started following Ms. Zagitova's career before the 2018 JO after a friend and colleague from the FSU told me about her and about the Russian FS scene in general. Watched her amazing career since the Olympics and list her (and a few others) among my most respected athletes. Incredibly talented, and has blossomed with class and grace and (with respect) possibly the most beautiful woman in figure skating. I appreciate how much she wants to give back and the close family life she has. I was moved to write because of this clipwhich as I had a German Shepherd growing up brought me to tears:

I come and read this thread almost everyday, multiple times, after browsing several others - always save the best for last.
When I see the names Finley, JazzUp, flanker, (and nussnacker, Autumn Leaves, lopsilceci, lesnar001, patee, savune, zounger, Zagipatra, Chinrosy), I feel like seeing a group of friends talking to each other. Sometimes I felt a little bit guilty for not contributing as much, but then said to myself: that's ok, I could be a good listener.
Don't you feel the same?

Dear decafjava hello to you too.As you can see,i'm a native Greek ,ex lawyer and a great Alina fun.I liked her since her junior time but i loved her deeply when i saw her at the Olympics in the Kiss and Cry holding this teddy bear and pushing it and then hiding her face in it.It was a wave of tenderness and maybe my maternal instict that turn me into a fun.She has in spades the most important thing imo in a human-dignity and hard working.

I couldn't decide for a long time, how to describe the whole thing in brief. And whether I even should. But I got help with that. My niece (she's 5 years old) asked me recently:
- Dasha, what is it?
- It's pictures on me, pictures that mean something, and the most important memories that I wanted to save.
- Pictures? Is this a girl?
- Yes. And what else do you see?
- She is dancing. And for some reason she's glowing.
I was a little surprised with her answer, because on that tattoo Alina is depicted frozen in the final pose from Outro
. Perhaps I was too touched at that moment, thinking that my idea was still successful. Inspiration that everyone can interpret in their own way. Or maybe this is a banal truth - "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder". Anyway, the significance and presence of Alina, all these bright feelings that she brings into the world are priceless! And she is forever in my heart
