I would say for the novice girls Maria Gordeeva or Lyuba Rubtsova should be the favourite for the gold medal, but we know Lyuba did not go to the summer camp in novogorsk so her form is a complete mystery rn and also she is competing in here instead of in juniors. I wonder if Gordeeva will go for that 4T here as well. We then have Alena Prineva, Daria Sarymsakova and a return from Kseniya Melkumova who is now coached by Panova could cause an upset. I wonder where Alena Krivonosova is?
