Matvei did so well!

Matvei will be a worthy successor to Kolyada if he finally starts landing his jumps. He is the same balletic style of skater with good SS, but his jump technique used to be awful. Hopefully it's not too late to fix.

I was trying to figure out how you can get disqualified in figure skating. Maybe beat up a judge or something. Haha

As it turned out, she was officially disqualified.

Nugumanova was disqualified at the Panin Memorial. She didn't plan to participate, but didn't warn the organizers​

Russian figure skater Elizaveta Nugumanova was disqualified from the Panin-Kolomenkin Memorial, as she did not notify the organizers of the tournament about her removal.

Nugumanova's last name was on the list of participants in the short program for women, but the figure skater did not start at the specified time.
According to SE, she did not plan to do it, but did not inform the local federation about the absence of the tournament.

"I shouldn't have played Panin, as I'm preparing for other tournaments. I don't understand why it is," the figure skater answered the question about the reasons for disqualification.

Arina Onishchenko went clean again today! Its such a shame she had a really bad outing in the 1st stage of Russian cup, even tho she got silver in the second stage of the Russian cup its pretty unlikely she will make nats. Its really annoying watching her get low balled in PCS over and over again.

Polina bombed Im really sad for her. I always wished she could have moved to someone like Mishin who has both political power and could get her a quad. Her jumps are so big and she is a lovely skater.She finished 4th and6th in Russian cup so very unlikely we will see her at nats. I love her a lot and its sad to see her not doing well

Roman couldn't land the 4S today, he managed to stay up on 2 3As one in combo with 2t but it was a fight for him. Rest of his jumps also looked unstable today and very labored and he had to fight for all of them.

Omg what a free from Gleb today landed everything and did 3 quads 3A eu 3S, 3lz-3lo combos!

Had he not had that random fall yesterday which led him to only do a 2A instead of a 3A he would be a gold contender rn.
