I am actually amazed by these scores. I would never had thought that this would be the result. Good for Caroline!! But Yikes...Mao has collapsed.

But the scores are still close and it really could go to anyone tomorrow.

Unbelievable! She still gets a SB, above 59! How did she get 31 in the TES with one bad combo and a missing triple? Maybe she got level4 footwork seq and high GOE's, and also on all the spins? The PCS is not actually out of this world either. Puzzling... She and her coach both look relieved -- she actually a bit stunned by her store, can't believe it...

How could she (Mao) have that high of a score with an omitted element? Wasn't Kimmie clean besides being underrotated? This is very strange.

Asada is probably crying in Turin right now...to be honest, I dont think any other of these skaters would cry after a skate like that....it kinda gives you a bad picture of Miss Asada, doesnt it?

It's horrid because, from all accounts, Mao should not be that close. I have to agree, this is a joke. I hope someone protests or investigates that score because it is outrageous.

And somehow, Yu-Na gets a seasonal best with the second highest TES and the highest PCS. I am VERY curious to see the protocols...

Lots of surprises today....but great expectations by others, is a very heavy burden to carry, and in the case of young ladies, maturing bodies can affect their skating a lot; weight shifts around, etc.. In a way, they sort of have to learn to skate all over again, and some never do.

she was smiling in the kiss and cry --- and no, I don't have a bad picture of her...she is a beautiful skater, having trouble with her jumps and perhaps nerves, but still, for me, an enormous pleasure to watch.
