Funniest or Cringiest Kiss and Cry Moments

Her 180 degree change of expression was great---but what is not so great are the dark circles under her eyes.....

This thread needs a video of the Stationary Lift Base moment. Everything about it is amazing. Madison Hubbell's jawdrop, Zach Donohue's eyebrow raise, Patch's hand goes to his mouth. The camera flip to Chock and Bates, where Madison Chock looks like she was possessed by a ghost, as Evan Bates stares upwards contemplatively, before they both realize the camera is on them, and smile and wave. Throughout this, the mic is still turned on in the Kiss n Cry, and you can hear Madison Hubbell say, "Stationary Lift Base????"

This was iconic. The way Madison said "BASE?!" I can't remember.... what was the issue with their Stationary lift that dropped it down to a level B?

But the protocol maybe was a record for the most +5's for a Base element! :laugh:http://www.isuresults.com/results/season1819/fc2019/fc2019_IceDance_FD_Scores.pdf

Zach traveled during their opening stationary lift. It was really obvious because they were right at center ice where 2019 Four Continents was emblazoned right underneath him. He went from the first N in continents to the second N in continents. So not a super significant movement, but he certainly traveled. I'll be honest, if it wasn't at central ice, the tech callers may have missed it.

I figured it was because of the travelling but for it to drop to a level B (5.3 BV for level 4, 1.00 for a level B) is pretty harsh - they had the lowest base value and the highest PCS of all the teams. So weird!

I had to put this, Virpi Horttana and Laura Lepistö's EM FS 2009

Compare to this, 10 years later Viveca Lindfors' EM FS 2019, Virpi Horttana, same coach

It put these both, because it think is funny how much calmer she is after getting used to her skaters success. I could not stop the first one at right place but start about 7 min 30 sec.

I'm not sure what competition maybe worlds 2003? In the KNC Lithuanians Drobiazco/Vanagas were wearing paper crowns from the crowd. When the scores came up they took them off quick. Was it when they lost the contraversial bronze to Chait/Sakhnovsky? Will have to check.

Yes it was, except that it was 2002 not 2003.

It’s not in the kiss and cry but Sarah Hughes coach when she won the Olympic gold medal screaming I love you I love you I love you is totally cringe worthy. What did you not care about the kids until the day she won the gold medal?

I feel like there's more story to this I am not privy to.
