OK, so that means that all three spots for the World team are open, so what will the federation do??? Is this the first time they have to choose who goes??
totally incredible....didn't let the fall bother her and hit the rest of her program; got a standing O....not quite the emotional program we know she can do, more like getting the work done, but she did, i suspect she'll be on top.

Beautiful spiral sequence at the beginning. Beautiful spins. Better program than Rachael's. Beautiful skater all around. A sweet girl and a fighter too. Congratulations to her.
Mirai had good height on all her jumps, but on the way down she has a hook on almost every jump and slightly under-rotates. I think she needs a jumping coach, because she's so close to under-rotating and had to fight for the landing of many of her jumps -- when she really shouldn't, because she has so much height and speed going into her jumps.
Wow, Mirai wins the championship!
But it's really close on top there! The SP and LP scores really evened out there.
There are four medals at National's, so Caroline gets a pewter medal too -- I think her goal was to be on the podium.
