I have filled my lifetime quota of Elvis...I lived through most of the real deal, completely soured by his ending and really do not get the persistence of it all. Ok - rant over.

I’ve always sort of thought that skating to Elvis might be a curse. I remember Bourne & Kraatz having a double fall on their closing move at the Olympics—and this is hardly the only example

Now—if I could only convince everyone that skating to anything Buble is a curse!

the curse for Bourne and Kraatz was probably coming more from the judging panels back then ... but yeah.. that double fall was not good.... not sure they would have placed better or worse with or without it...
