Compulsory Dance (merged threads)

It may be lower than the other PCS marks but it is still higher then it has been this season. And that's with a fall! In fact they scored just a bit lower then they did at Cup of China! Now that's what I call being held up!

They (being the judges) must want B/A to win now that Domnina a Shabalin are out. In my opinion they should have won the gold in 2006 at the world championships

I still think that judges were pretty generous for them here... In my eyes, P/B tango was better if one considers that Tanith fell and it severly affected the flow of the dance, but French got lower score.. I think that a fall in CD should make winning the gold very very difficult, if not impossible and the deductions should be more costly.

heyhey
P/B achieved a very high TEC! OK!

Chris and Nicky of British Eurosport have calculated that Tanith and Ben probably lost about 2 points due to the fall, so their score would have been in the low 37s, which might have been a bit behind Delobel and Scheonfelder anyway. Tanith has also been interviewed and said she now feels she and Ben have nothing to lose from here on in. Definitely if Delobel and Schoenfelder break 40 here(they've done that twice, both times at Europeans), they could sew things up; a five point deficit probably won't be made up.

Exactly what I mean, good technique, good programme components, vs fall and good programme components... I would bet for former! Again, in my opinion, PCS 'did the job' and let B/A lead.

so what are the standings?

I can't believe (well maybe I can) that tanith fell. They could walk in and skate away with the title, no problems and they are gonna mess up. Just like sasha in Calgary. I hope they can come back strong in the OD and Free.
i am seeing that virtue and moir skate almost last. This could be very good for them.

I hope not but we will have to see. Crazier things have happened. I mean, come on, nothing is set in stone.

You have to be joking !!!!

Well, I have to admit that there scores are a little to high and i am sorry if I worded it wrong. I know RDiva that you are a fan of Delobel and Schoenfelder and I do believe that they have a great chance now to win the gold :)

Yes, thank you, but also i am a big fan of Denkova/Staviiski :agree:

Faiella/Scali scored 37.15 - season's best score for them - they are currently in 1st with Cappellini/Lanotte now on the ice.

the tension! ...why do i have to go to school?!

so mad that i'll be in calculus when isa and oli skates...
good luck to all!

congrat on the italians on their new PB, it must have been amazing.

I did not expect judges to place F/S in front of B/A! But well done, deserved leading.
