2023 Russian Nationals among Boys and Girls (Older Age)

Valeria Zorina has great spring in her jumps, but she also has a big leg wrap that throws off her jump axis a bit. Not a bad skate from her either, despite the fall on the 3Lo.

Very nicely done by Kamilla, probably the best I've seen her skate this season. Really gorgeous 3F+3Lo and a very cool choreographic sequence 😍

A bit tired at the end, really had to fight for the spins and some of the landing looked a bit short of rotation, but overall a really positive impression.

Ok this girl impressed me, I dont think ive seen her before but she did very well:cheer2: She did get very tired at the end and lost the spin levels but other than that very impressive:console:

Katya Tsipukhina has very good jumping technique, even if her landing positions aren't the most refined yet. Good skate for her too.

Dina has very cool and unique spin positions, but she didn't seem to be particularly into the performance today, very focussed on the technical elements.

It paid off, as it was the most secure she's skated in a while, so I'm not going to complain too much.

This is just my selfish wish but can the Georgian fed please take Dina and Tasiya K. Im devastated that we will likely never see them on international circuits:pray:

Im still very shocked how low Lukashova ended up :scratch2:
I wonder if we will see her go for a quad here or play it safe, to try to make it to the novice national team?

Also my stream started lagging like crazy again:bang:

Most of these girls will never make it to the international competitions. With the ban or without. If I were Kogan, I would really consider a league because the number of girls is increasing. Girls with a clean free with 7 triples aren't even medal contenders anymore. A league would be a motivation to stay in the sport for longer.

Yeah Dina and Tasiya were never likely to make it out of Russia even without the ban. There's just too much talent in Russia for that.

A league would be a smart idea or make the Russian cup series worth staying in the sports for even without international starts.
