Puzin has been really impressive during these test skates. Im hoping this season will continue in this trajectory because this boy has always had so much potential, its unfortunate he was out for part of last season.

I absolutely loved his short. Delivered with both thought and soul. Smirnova knows how to pick really interesting athletes. In a way I liked it more than Ugozhaev's even, because Puzin was exactly where he belongs, and Ugozhaev feels a bit held back here

Alas, I can't chat or watch atm, but I am really looking forward to catching up over the weekend. Short program for men was great. Well, not the Hallelujah or Cathedrals, but other than that, great.

Lev with insanely difficult layout I still think that the combo being on the backloaded 2nd 4lz is asking for trouble but if he goes clean he truly will be unstoppable this season.

My favourite free skates: Fedotov, Loginov, Lazarev.

All three programs are very difficult for the junior level. A lot of musical accents to be matched (not only with choreo but with jumps too). Also, these programmes require a perfect ending to the music (what didn't work out for Kolya). With perfect skates, they are very promising.

I'm getting a beautiful stream from channel 1 (pray it continues for the girls). Loving the music, (No generic Pop Emo Ballads-yay!). Early in the season so most not fully cooked, but very enjoyable.

I sort of liked Plushy's kid-who skates like a mini Plushenko-he is rough around the edges, but great jumping ability. I think with all the shows his skaters are not going to be far along with choreo yet, but still fun to watch the possibilities.

Seems like it's going to be quite difficult for me to access the Russian competitions this season if that's the way it is for the other events as well. Not sure if I'll do the VPN stuff and everything.
