Yes.

Mind you, in the final 2 groups, only Casper JOHANSSON (SWE) is out of order. He is the penultimate skater to go in Group 3, when he should be the last to skate in the group.

The first 2 groups are really messed up, unfortunately.

Easier to follow/figure out final scores that way
At least the final warmup group happened to coincidentally draw in proper reverse order

Big double axels, give this young man a few years and the right training, and he'll hopefully have all triples including the 3A. Very focused on jumps at this stage of his development, and he seems very happy with his skate here

My best guess is that they don't want to give too much pressure to the lowest scoring juniors.. Hence why I thought the last 2 groups don't need to be scrambled.

I wouldn't worry too much - he's got a good coach. Richard Laidlaw was James Min's coach for most of his career.

Good to see him back on the international circuit. He also used to coach one of my kids, Laura Farran (CYP).

Is it just me, or is Richard turning into a Ted lookalike?

Bertrand has skating in his heart. When he develops stronger basic edges and skating, the jumps and spins will be more under control. You can see he has the potential to be really interesting.

This kid is tall and lean, isn't he? I get the feeling he doesn't yet know quite what to do with all that limb, he keeps starting something with a stretch and then... letting it go (sorry, I don't know how to describe it better) but I like him.

Bertrand looks like he had a growth spurt recently. I'm sure his jumps will get more stable once he gets used to his long limbs.
