We see a lot of women in Quebec who don't aspire to do more than these smaller events. They like performing. The skate at their club's shows. some coach too... I appreciate their love for their sport... and since skating skills and performance are important in quebec, they bring a nice program like Sylia just did, which is very enjoyable to watch, though would never have enough content to go Nationals.

It's nice that they can do that. There aren't really those sorts of opportunities here.

I wrote this in the wrong thread, Julianne had a strong finish. Very proud of how she fought hard to come back with a loop and lutz late in the program... and the salchow was too, though not successful.
