Bonne chance à eux
I just googled it...there seems to be heavy rain and thunderstorms. Either they fear for the safety of the people coming to or leaving the rink, or the rink itself is not in the best state.I just read that rest of the competitions are cancelled today because of a red weather warning and they need to evacuate the ice rinkThey will let the junior men finish...
Gosh, I hope the rink doesn't flood.I just googled it...there seems to be heavy rain and thunderstorms. Either they fear for the safety of the people coming to or leaving the rink, or the rink itself is not in the best state.
The airport is literally next to the sea. That might make landing even more difficult if the weather is badOne possibility is they are afraid of electric breaks, or skater's flights will be late and they have to postpone events. There may be several possibilities or combined reason of many.
Yeah I think the risk is probably flood. The rink may be fine but if roads get flooded and stuff it´s not safe to have skaters and audience come and go, being stuck at the rink after or worse - someone gets injured on their way to the rink or going home. The weather conditions are going to stay that bad until tomorrow around noon, as far as I've read...that's going to be a lot of rearranging :-/Yeah I think the risk is probably flood. Btw, they say it´s postponed until they have more information.. If everything is ok by the evening i´m guessing they have to reschedule from early morning until night tomorrow, but there is possible 3 events that is postponed, that is a bit of a puzzle also with practice times :/
