Their mom is Czech and dad is Slovak, that's why Tadeas switched to representing Czechia last year. They have another younger sister around 6 years old, she is also figure skater but not competitive so far.

Yeah, I already knew the reasons for the brothers representing different countries. But, I've been trying to find out for a while now what their mother's name is, because their ISU Bio says that she is a former skater. And, naturally, I want to look her up and see what she was like when she was competing.
Didn't realise that the boys had skating sisters too, though. Given how much younger than her siblings the youngest girl is, I'm not sure we'll get to the stage when we have all four of them competing at 4 Nationals. But, it would be lovely if it does happen.

Note to competitors and coaches - please be aware of where exactly you are standing during the Warm-Up. Because during the Group 2 Warm-Up in Junior Ice Dance, the coach of one of the partnerships must have been standing right next to the camera. And when the skaters came to the boards to have a drink, the girl was standing right in front of the camera, and all we could see was her chest really close up.
I didn't post this at the time because I wanted to see everybody so that I could be sure of who it was. But, I have now decided to be a gentleman and not name her.

I'm not surprised, especially in her Rhythm Dance costume!I delayed having my dinner until after the Advanced Novices at the Spanish Championships were finished. But, since there is currently a long break, I have decided to play catch-up on what has happened so far with the Ice Dancing in Poland.
And no, it has nothing to do with wanting to see Lucy Hancock. Honest.
And if you believe that, you'll believe anything.
Right, I've just finished the Group 1 Warm-Up for the Junior Dancers, and the first of the many Czech missions partnerships is ready to start.

Hancock & Fourati has to be one of my favourite Rhythm Dances of the season with it's authentic 70s Disco Choreography and Interpretation performed really well. And their costumes are fabulous and very 70s. My friend Lorraine had a pair of those black thigh length leather boots! She also had a song written about her called Lorraine by Bad Manners, a Ska Revival band from our area in London. A bit of music and culture trivia for you! 
The Mrazovas and Hungarian No.1 couple in 3rd both had nervy skates with errors but still got the scores. I enjoyed the performances from couples lower down, including the 3rd Hungarians just up from Juniors who skated very well and have a lively Rhythm Dance with much better new costumes.
Sadly the Poles Ola Borysova and Aaron Freeman withdrew due to injury. I wish them better luck next season.
It's interesting that the Central European icedancers go to Italy for Coaching, and not North America. So we saw Barbara Fusar-Poli, Matteo Zanni and Luca Lanotte in the Kiss & Cry.

Right, I've reached the Seniors. And it is kinda nice that Group 1 has a partnership from each country.

That must have been a great honour for your friend, having a song written about her.

Haven't reached the Pairs yet (I'm at the Group 2 Warm-Up for the Senior Dancers), but I was concerned when I saw that my kids Barbora Kucianová / Martin Bidař (CZE) weren't even in the entries. When I watched them at the Warsaw Cup, I got the feeling that their partnership may be on it's last legs.
I hope I'm wrong, because this is the last thing the skaters involved and the Czech Fed needs going into an Olympic season. But, things didn't look rosy.

yep, Kucianová/Bidař split. And more than that, Simioli/Zarbo retired due to numerous injuries. We are without senior pair now.

Although it's not what I wanted to hear, thank you for the confirmation. It was obvious from their body language in Warsaw that things were not good between them.
Yeah, it is a real shame that it has left you with no Senior partnerships. But, there is a good crop of Junior partnerships competing here. Are any of them age eligible for Seniors next season?
Surely Debora Anna COHEN / Lukáš VOCHOZKA (Barbora's former partner) will be old enough for Seniors. (Don't know anything about the ages of the other two partnerships).
Hope you get something sorted out soon.
