2025 Four National Championships

I've missed Reshtenko so I watched him now. Pity 4S was UR and last spin got V, otherwise it looked like a solid skate.

Yeah, it is a real shame that it has left you with no Senior partnerships. But, there is a good crop of Junior partnerships competing here. Are any of them age eligible for Seniors next season?

Surely Debora Anna COHEN / Lukáš VOCHOZKA (Barbora's former partner) will be old enough for Seniors. (Don't know anything about the ages of the other two partnerships).
Deborah has already turned 17, so Cohen/Vochozka will indeed be Sr-eligible next season. I'm not expecting them to grab one of the last Olympic spots, and while I can see them qualifying for Euros, Worlds minimums are really high now.

Kviderova/Klement are quite young (despite looking so tall already - she's 165 cm and he's 189 cm tall), they won't be Sr-eligible until the 2027/28 season. Zilkova/Becerra don't have an ISU bio, but Johanka is born in 2009, so they'll be Sr-eligible either in 2026/27 or 2027/28.

Side note, really happy for my kids (Heckova/Valky) who withdrew from their last competition after the SP warm-up but looked great here today. ☺

Barbora Vránková within her current low frame. Honestly I don't believe she can rise above that. Since she went from Italy to USA her skating an results are just mediocre at best.

Barbora has the same issue that Davydov's other skaters have. She needs to rework her technique to fix the small jump issue but I doubt that she will get the amount of attention she needs for that at Raf.

Thank you for all the information.  :points:

So, as it stands, they will be relying on one partnership, who will be in their first Senior season. Which is not ideal.

I wonder if Barbora and / or Martin will be able to find a new partner (ideally who already has Czech citizenship) in time for next season. Of course, bedding in a new partner during an Olympic season isn't ideal either. But, it would at least mean that there is a backup if Deborah or Lukáš gets injured.

Thank you again

:thank:

Two transfers affected her but when she was in Italy with Turenko she looked quite promising. But our skating union knows only one single move of what to do with any skater appearing competitive internationally - let's send him/her to Raf.

Catherine-Charlotte Lapierre, disaster skate...

Good job her Mum isn't commentating at this event (as many of us had hoped would be the case).

Mind you, it could have made for an interesting commentary...
