2025 U.S. Nationals Junior Men's Free Skate

Well I had him second, but am happy to see him in first.

Ryan William Azadpour had a nightmare skate yesterday. I wish him better today in a grey shirt and black pants and skating to “Metamorphosis” by Philip Glass; choreo by Mari Malama. Nice clean lines and posture. Lots of errors on the jumps, but lovely when they are clean. He skates big.and with style.
169.37 new leader

Arsen Meghavoryan skates to “Turning Page” by Sleeping At Last; choreo by Massimo Scali. He has one full head of hair and is easy to pick out of a group. Clean compact skating, he needs to keep his shoulders down and gain a bit more speed and confidence. Sleeping at Last is soft music for a guy named Arsen and is kinda ironic. 148.37

David good opening combo but got increasingly tired. No expression. He's like the anti-Jared.

David Zhao skates to “Moonlight Sonata – Epic Version (Attack on Titan
Style)” by Samuel Kim; choreo by Pasquale Camerlengo, Irina Vaypan in a blue/purple sky print with black pants. He needs to hold his head up on his jumps and not watch his arms and feet in order to land better. He has decent posture, but is opening up on jumps that he shouldn't. I'd like to see him use his knees more. He did not seem engaged with the music much.

Oh Peacock, stop with the yellow circle of death.
I lost 7 skaters in junior ladies to this nonsense.
Now the sad kitty face that forces me to reboot...:angry4:

Of course I miss the one skater I wanted to see Brendan Man

Brendan Man in white shirt with glass triangles on it and black pants to Fragile” by Kygo and Labrinth; choreo by Alexander Johnson. He starts confidently with a smile. Nice speed, big style but not a lot of height on the jumps. Solid performer.

Ah Ben and GG are back. Yay. Enjoying them as a team. GG started quietly but found her play-by-play voice. :giggle:
They work well together and are polite to the skaters and say helpful things from their own experience and for the athletes. the inside stories are interesting.

Resurface now... time for lunch
