2025 U.S. Nationals Senior Rhythm Dance

I definitely prefer G/ P among the three because I just love teams whose skating quality and dancing quality makes them equals. Their edge quality is amazing and they play off each other on the ice.

With that score, these three teams are fighting for 2/3. The second position does not seem guaranteed. Exciting!

I feel like Maddie and Evan are a little bit cursed at Nationals - last year, Evan looked like he wanted to puke, and now Maddie doesn't look super great heading to her starting position (true to her title as World Champion, though, she disguises it brilliantly during the program). This program has really improved since Skate America - the music cuts are much more cohesive, and there are so many neat choreographic nods to the dance styles throughout the eras. It's still a little cluttered during the pattern step, but it's definitely not as jarring as it was earlier on in the season.

C/B just manage to look more expensive and polished than everyone else. It's not just the packaging but the transitions in between each move are smoother and more intricate than the others. Some hate on them but the program just flows.

Madi and Evan looked great, if she is not feeling well, wow!

This program has grown on me over the season. As in I really did not like it at the start. It is so ambitious and they pull it together with such perfection.

If Ben Agosto says they are the class of the field, who am I to disagree?

They do make very very hard things look easy. I've come to appreciate C/B , G/ P, and G/ F more and more this season. They are just a lot better than almost all younger teams at partnering and skating in hold and, honestly, they have more interesting transitions and details. Their years and years of perfecting their craft show...
