Ratel comes up often as a crossword puzzle word. It's an animal also called the "honey badger" (which is usually the clue given). They're largish rodents of, I believe, the weasel family, love to eat honey, and are supposed to be quite aggressive, unlike Winnie the Pooh with *his* pots of honey
