I don't think she will get there but, hypothetically speaking, it's possible indeed.
The real issue for me is not that much the spots management, but the lack of said spots. 5 spots for singles when there are 4 boys who deserve them and perhaps even a few more who are younger and could benefit the experience is not good. In previous years, they did spread the "wealth" everyone getting one spot... but this year, two boys are getting two so one of the 4 guys, and IMHO the one with the biggest raw potential, isn't getting anything.
In women, honestly, the spot management is lacking here. There was only one skater (aside Lia) who did well enough this summer and she deserved two spots off the bat. The fact that we are even having to discuss it is showing that there was a lack of vision here. Sure, visa issues, so she couldn't get an early stage. But they needed to do this : give her the two spots, and if she really doesn't do well in the first, sub her out for someone else. Of course, we would have been shocked by this because they don't usually do this

but now, it's tough to remove anything from Reese or Hannah.
