ARD/ZDF for Germany is probably not correct. Would be really suprised if they showed a Grand Prix event, especially without German participants. It's most likely Eurosport only here.

yes that might be the case.
Same here in Germany. If ARD / ZDF bought the TV rights but will not show anything it will still be geoblocked.
My guess is the TV rights were sold in a GP package and German TV will only show the competitions with Hase / Volodin

I see nothing morally wrong is getting a VPN , and watching on the ISU channel. I say lots of bad things about the ISU , Most of which are very deserved, but one one them is not about watching skating on youtube......about putting skating on Youtube for the poor huddled masses, yerning to be free, Grace and beauty will prevail over the ugliness of politics.

That ISU youtube channel is the best. That's the best thing ISU ever did for the sport.
I am also tennisfan and I must admit I know about the illegal streaming sites. I just didn't know what qq is. VPN for ISU youtube is so much easier though

Can't believe the Grand Prix has come around already! Time passes differently in the Southern hemisphere. I see quite a lot of top skaters/teams competing right off the bat. Don't think I'll be watching live much because of the time difference, but exciting nonetheless.

Hi, thanks for your replies, guys. I just discovered that Eurosport is no longer part of Discovery channels but TNT at the cost of €17 plus a month. I think I will chance it and see if YouTube is accessible on Friday in Ireland. Maybe just maybe

This is the link I use. Once an event starts, this page shows a link to the stream. I found it easily by googling CBC figure skating schedule.

I find it more convenient than CBC GEM.

I don't use Gem either. I just go to CBC sports and click on LIVE videos.
