Tatsuya. Great outfit. The first 3 elements were not good, but he regrouped and finished strong.

Tsuboi’s skating is non-descript to me. You really have to skate clean to music like this. Otherwise, the messiness is going to clash with the drama in the worse way. He can do better than this.

Those like Tsuboi Tatsuya require careful packaging because while he has the Japanese basics and strong jumps when landed he is at least so far not a charismatic performer, you need music that lifts him up yet doesn't swallow him whole. I'm afraid that this FS went the latter route

This is such hard music to skate to.
You must be absolutely clean or else the spell of the music is broken.
It also requires a commanding presence. I think it was a tactical error on the part of his team to give him this music before he has developed consistency and a solid presence.

That said - Tatsuya is a wonderful talent and I look forward to seeing his skating develop.

100% agree. He really picked it up in the second half, but I think most people would struggle with this music. You really gotta be consistent, lol.
