Not sure I've seen Simona KOLENÁKOVÁ (SVK) before. The name doesn't sound familiar. And she doesn't look familiar. There again, her hair has been bleached. Maybe I saw her when she had her natural hair colour, and I just don't recognise her now.

She was wearing a red dress with black areas on it.

I liked the music and the skating.

Eve DUBECQ (FRA) is also wearing a red dress, but a brighter shade.

A very good skate.

Mmmm. Has the first skater withdrawing confused the livescoring? It hasn't started yet.

Not that we are unsure of what will happen now. We know Eve is going into the lead.

That said, the music sounded right. Just not the voice.

Livescoring is now working. She goes into the lead.

It was beautiful! Nothing more to say.

She had to fight her way through the Group 2 skaters waiting to go out to do their Warm-Up.

She goes into 3rd position.

Nah, from this camera angle and distance, I don't think I am going to be able to pick out Liza.

But, she is there, because there are six skaters on the ice.

You know, with us running ahead of schedule due to the withdrawal, I might just manage to watch her LIVE before I go to eat.

Andrea BACOVA (SVK) wearing a gorgeous black dress with a single white glove. And skating to a female cover of "Dirty Diana".

This is so hot!

Ach, it's now turned into the original "The Way You Make Me Feel" by Michael Jackson. And the whole feel of the programme has changed.

No, she should have stuck with "Dirty Diana".

That said, the skating was good the whole way through.

She goes into 5th and last position.

Nina POVEY (GBR) wearing a blue dress, but I'm not keen on it. Particularly the shade.

I did like the music. I wasn't familiar with the song, but her ISU Bio says it was "Rescue" by Lauren Daigle. And it really suited Nina's skating.

Yes, I really enjoyed that.

I just noticed something. At the end of her programme, Nina breathed out, and you could see her breath. It must be very cold there.

She goes into 2nd position.

Cintia. Nice bodysuit and program. Jumps a little problematic, but the performance was good.

Oh, Cintia! That would be a beautiful costume if the silver areas were not so big.

Cintia SZABO (HUN) was wearing a black jumpsuit, with silver trim and a big silver cross on the front.

Don't know the first song she was skating to. But it was followed by "Pokerface" by Lady Gaga.

No, not really my kind of programme. Maybe tomorrow's FS programme will be more my taste.

She goes into 6th position.

Elizabet. Beautiful pink dress. Lovely program. Shame about the falls, because the skate was otherwise good.

Playing the piano at the start. Knowing about Liza's background with the piano, this made me smile.

Hard fall on the first jump. But straight up.

Nearly fell on the second jump too.

Flying Camel Spin was rather wonkey at the start, but she got it under control.

I could see that fall on the next jump coming,

Combination Spin good.

Beautiful choreography in the Step Sequence.

And a beautiful Layback Spin to finish with.

A real mixed bag.

She looks disappointed.

Just as a side note, she won Senior Ladies at the first round of the Cup Of Israel earlier in the week. In the SP on Monday, she scored 47.54 points, 5.68 more than the girl in 2nd position (who subsequently withdrew).

Today she scored 44.65. So, bearing in mind she has had to travel here in between, for her score to be that close is very good.

She's still not on her best form, though.

She goes into 5th position.

Right, just catching up on the last two skaters.

Like @Jeanie19, I liked the purple dress that Chiara MINIGHINI (ITA) was wearing.

I'm not a fan of Ed Sheeran. But "Give Me Love" worked well for Chiara.

She had to pull her leg in during an element early on to avoid it hitting the boards. But on the whole, a good skate.

She goes into 4th position.
