So from what I can gather, it looks like Kemp and Elizarov got both 4CC and senior world minimums? I suppose it being an Olympic year, there's a decent shot of them getting a spot for at least one championship. Though agonisingly just half a point off for Desrochers and Thrasher on 4CC minimums..

Quite a lot of junior competing teams trying to get senior minmums here so it's great at least one team did that!

Jazzy and Kiki had a terrible outing. But it's okay. I don't feel they are quite ready for senior internationals of championship level. Traditionally, Skate Canada doesn't like sending junior teams to both junior and senior championships... but this is a special year with the top skaters skipping 4CC for the Olympics. I believe that Kelly Ann and Loucas will be going to 4CC and if one of the senior teams skips worlds (perhaps Max and Deanna) they would go to worlds as well. But it's not a bad thing to have some back ups for worlds... and of course, for 4CC there are two spots up for grabs.

It's hard to assess the situation now because there are new teams in Canada which we have seen very little (of nothing at all ) from. Secunda Ferland could take a spot at 4CC... Fiona and Ben have been missing in action due to injury etc... So yes, it's good our top juniors are going for minimums, but they may not need them this year.

Grayson skating to Cherbourg as well... and same version as Jacob... sigh... those emo romantic teenagers LOL

okay... honestly, that decision will always be contested but now, knowing they didn't have world minimums... even more so.

I mean, worlds minimums are an indicator of what teams need to get in there... I know 4cc/olympics are lower but less teams are admitted ... so in that sense, a team without world minimums, should not be chosen if other teams have them...

anyways... dead horse... but as I didn't know that they didn't have their scores.. I am even more troubled.
It was an awful lot of pressure to put on them and it looked they weren't ready for it. They need more time.
