Riku and Ryuichi redeem the free skate, such a powerful and dynamic performance! A little tight on the jump combo and they lost the 2A value, which will really hurt (4-5 points of BV), everything else in this program is so good. Their lifts have so much speed and flow and I love their unique transitions into their throws. They'll need a major error from the Georgians to win here with the loss of the 2A, but this will at the very least see them into the Final and they can be very proud of this program. They finally landed that 3LoTh and they have so much energy in the choreo sequence!

Wow this has been a bit of a Cup of Disaster! I’m still stuck watching USA Stream but Johnny actually said something funny.

Tara said the pairs talk to each other during the performance. About the decision to do double-single-single axel.

He said, “Honey.get the car—we’re going home!” In his usual dramatic fashion.

I actually think he jinxed them! He said it right before the botched lift.

Is she injured or something? Again jump problem and her landings on throws looks so shaky.Not sure what's going on.Also they really should try doing lift 4 for the twist.They will need every points.
Solid program but nothing super special.
