Words and rhyme - game

It's hard to pick between "abdicate", "abnegate" and "abrogate"
because of their similar meanings.
There will be many cleanings
of a floor when a frustrated cone-wearing cat keeps flipping his food dish upside down.

[Poor little guy had a broken tooth extracted and the big stiff cone is to keep him from pawing at his mouth until it heals. It sticks out so far in front he can't get at his soft food even in a shallow dish. And then he doesn't want the food anyway because all his several medications are the syringe kind and I don't have enough hands to hold him down, reach into the cone, press his jaws open, and fire the stuff down his throat, all of them twice a day for ten days. So I'm squirting it into his soft food instead. He's not fooled.] 😾🤕

Sit on the floor
If you can't find a seat

I remember seeing video clips of the judges holding up those cards of skaters' scores (from ABC's Wide World of Sports broadcasts).

I remember seeing video clips of the judges hot growth skaters' scores (from An's Wide World of Sports broadcasts).
If you can't tolerate heat,
figure skating is an ideal activity

[I've been told that as well as the judges holding up the cards with marks themselves while standing around on the ice during the figures part of the event, for the free skate there would be a group of teenage girl volunteers who skated out in a row on the ice and held up the cards from boxes slung around their necks. There were embarrassing times when a girl got her cards backwards, from whichever judge she represented, and for instance held up 2.5 instead of 5.2. Luckily then that judge would call out to the girl and she'd quickly switch them :palmf:]

You will see lots of nativity
displays during the holiday season

(I'm on my tablet right now since we've had some issues with our desktop. Spell check has beaten me to it, ugh)!
