ETA: Just to let everyone know, because my YouTube channel is not monetized or verified, they only allow me to upload 10 videos per 24 hours. I just tried to upload Junior Pairs SP and it failed because the clock is still winding down.
Don't worry, everything I recorded will be uploaded, Pairs, Ladies, Men, but it may take a couple of days when YouTube lets me, so please check back.

Ice Dundee have done an announcement congratulating Ana and Luke on their selection for Euros and Lucas Fitterer on his as a reserve. However, I cannot find anything from BIS. I'm not doubting Ice Dundee - I just want to know who else is going to Euros. Most selections are obvious, but I would really like to know what Kristen is doing.

Excellent. I wasn't sure whether Kristen was 'really' back. Pleased she is!
We know from Ice Dundee's post that Lucas Fitterer is the reserve for the men. I assume that Bushel/Pena are for ice dance. We don't have anyone who can be a reserve for women or pairs.
Sadly, it doesn't look like Davison/Borisov will manage the senior technical mins this weekend, so our second pairs spot will remain unfilled. They have set a new PB in the short programme, but their tech score was slightly lower than at Tayside. They need to find over 9 points extra TES in the free compared to their best, and I don't think that is realistic.

Congratulations to all selected even if the Team pretty much picked itself.
Largest team since 1988 which is good going when you consider we just had Lilah & Lewis and Natasha McKay in Beijing.
Looking forward to seeing GB compete in the Team event for the first time since 2014 - we finished 10th and last then but I am confident we will finish a bit higher than that this time, although we won't qualify for the Free.

I think Team GB might be the first country to formally announce their team?
Spain announced in September after the qualifier, but they didn't have a team photo to go with it.

Do we know if ISU will be streaming the Olympics on You Tube and will UK be able to watch? BBC no longer have full right to the Olympics so may only show some of the skating, plus as I have said before Robin's co-commentator makes it impossible to watch as she is so bad.

I doubt if WBD would allow it to be shown on YouTube. Discovery Sports paid a large amount of money for the pan-European rights, and if people are going to watch the Olympics online, they will want them to do it via Discovery+. The only reason they did these sub-licensing deals in some countries is that the countries in question had laws that said that so many hours of the Olympics had to be shown on Free To Air TV.
With that in mind, I was surprised they didn't just say "well, we'll put it on Quest and DMAX then". But, I suppose by selling on the FTA coverage to other broadcasters, they are able to re-coup some of the money that they spent on the rights in the first place.
I reckon that closing down British Eurosport is going to come back and bite them in the backside come the Olympics. Because people aren't going to take out a £31 per month subscription to TNT Sports just to watch the Olympics. They will watch the BBC coverage instead.
But, come the next Olympics, we might be looking back and thinking "boys, but we had it good then". Because we could end up in an even worse position depending on the fate of WBD.

The ISU wouldn't be able to stream the Olympics because it doesn't control the broadcast rights, but this channel streamed the Beijing figure skating events.

The Olympics coverage will be included within the basic package so you can take out and cancel after 1 Month for £3.99 no need to pay extra for a TNT Sports subscription. I did this for Paris and I would say at the cost of a Tesco Meal Deal it was a bargain.
I think some Sky subscription packages include the Discovery + basic package also.
The OBS world feed will be geo blocked in UK as BBC and TNT Sports have rights but I presume you can use a VPN.
