The second year of the partnership is the most difficult, isn't it?

Last season P/C made mistakes but at the same time they were very fun to watch and had outstanding dances. They started skating clean by the end of the season.

This season... Heavy mistakes in both dances. RD is literally last season's dance but worse. FD is good but not really suits them.

Losing to Rybakova/Makhnonosov overall and Shichina/Drozd in the FD (tbh should be behind Zh/B-S, too).

I don't know what to say here.

Zh/B-S and R/M seem to improve their tech a lot in the off-season.

Varvara and Timur really worked on their tech while recovering. It was wise to not change the dance and focus on improving skating. That's really nice to seem them improving because they have never been good in steps, etc.

Ekaterina and Ivan may finally shine after a not-so-succesful senior debut season.

Senior entries are a blast.

Hopefully Efimchuk does better this time. Nice to see him still trying. I was afraid he just quits after that GP stage.

Sad to not see Sofia Zakharova. I wonder if she's intended to continue.

Also weird to not see Andreeva/Akimov.

Seems to be first senior event for Cousins/Bregei. I think it means they are moving up to seniors next season. Because once you achieve MS badge, you can't return to juniors anymore.

Very messy skate for Gleb at his home rink. He looked very disappointed.

He was growing when I last saw him, probably still is. Not a great score, unfortunately. Fingers crossed things improve.

Thank you! I am still sad she didn't make nationals. She really could've, and both programs are great. 67.46 is quite a high score this season and she deserved it. Impressive StSq, very engaging and smooth.

Unfortunately the VK stream doesn't load for me and I had to find her replay on YouTube. No uploads of Kshetskaya anywhere. Too bad, as I see she finished quite well and I like her too.

Her presentation might have improved a little, the artistic line is better, but opening with a 3S-3T gives no confidence in her athleticism and looking at the FS results, well... How did she even score 45 TES in an FS without any deductions? She always had cardio issues. Don't know how much hope there is in her making stages again. I am also unsure why her choreographers have her emoting to a wall in the far corner during StSq.
