Uh oh, Yuma running a bit out of steam on the jumps at the end of the program and his overall skating and presentation has a cautious feeling today. I’m not feeling the emotional abandonment in his musical interpretation that he is capable of at his best.

Sato's deserved to beat Kagiyama at both worlds 2025 and NHK 2025, IMO.

I'm guessing Kagiyama will be getting the nod here for silver - but I think I'd have Sato ahead yet again.

Not perfect but Yuma is trending in the right direction for the Olympics. His knees are just divine. The skating skills and the flow out of the jumps are gorgeous. That ina bauer might have been my favorite moment today.

Wonderful! A winner of my heart. Still we have to wait for a perfect version of Yumadot, but considering his SP margin it should be enough for the 2nd. Well done!

That was good, but not as good as he can skate. Still, with the lead after the SP, that should be enough for the silver medal.

Yuma was a bit off with his jumps tonight, but he fought through any foibles as well as he could. There are some lovely moments in this program, like the Ina Bauer. Well done, Yuma! He definitely has the best skating skills in the group.

Kagiyama did very well, but the gold was already lost before he even stepped on the ice. He needed to calm his nerves and beat Sato here, even with the lead in the SP.
