2026 Olympics: General Info and Pregame Chat

I have C7 row 8 for men SP. Which is ok since I knew cat B would be far up. For mens freeskate we decided to go all in with cat a and ended up in row 2 b29 which is short side but that's ok. Block A infront of us is only 6 rows and it seems to be mobile and not installed at all events so maybe it's not even there for olympics
I'm assuming it's either not there or for VIPs.

Yes there will be lots of very VIP VIPs and I don't think someone like Snoop Dog or Brad Pitt or that kind of celebrity will sit between normal audience... they'd be busy with autographs and selfies all the time.
We have Cat A but without hospitality so I assume people with acess to hospitality sit infront of us maybe more privileged?

I'm imagining some VIPs sitting with us, we'd be busy with swarming them instead of watching skating 😂

Andreas Nordeback confirmed by Swedish Olympic Committee

We have B category tickets for all 3 events we're attending with my mom and we got them in early February, so we were ones of the first. And we're not super happy about 2 of them. For Men Free and Women Short we got C30 which is upper short side next to the corner (right next to the cheapest category). For Women Free we got C7 which is upper middle sector, and which is okay. Anyway, hoping for good visibility and great events, as Olympic games have been a long time dream of mine, and now that it's in Europe it's more affordable for us than all previous Olympics.

I see tickets still available and they are 1/3 of my salary but I don't have kids yet so im thinking maybe like what a hell? When there is gonna be olympics close to me? I am thinking going women free skate only, and staying for 2 nights.
Depending on where you are, the answer might be in four years :D Skating will be in Nice in 2030.

Well, I am saying, if you can make it, do it. 2010 wasn't hard for me but they had a lottery system and I didn't win any figure skating tickets. It's really annoying when you wanted to attend figure skating and end up missing out because of how tickets are distributed. I am not sure how it works in other games but yeah, I am saying, there is never a guarantee that tickets will be available so if you can grab some, do it ;)

I'll definitely try. Plus Nice is a great place...at least in summer 😂

I entered the lottery for these Olympics and we had no idea how it was going to work. I was to relieved when I logged in and could buy tickets for anything and everything!

I think it's once in a lifetime. The ticketprice is insane but I want to be live at Olympics once in my life
I was lucky enough to live in Japan when 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics happened. I didn't have any tickets, very expensive and also very hard for foreigners to get them, but I decided to go anyway, post myself in front of the arena and just hope that someone has extra tickets for figure skating. To this day I cannot believe my luck to find not one ticket, but 4, for all my family members from someone whose family couldn't come!
This remains one of my life's highlights, so yes, no matter how much the cost of the tickets, if you have the opportunity to go to Olympics just do it, you would not regret it!
