Bummer - down on quad 2.... grr... all the other jumps have been done just about as well as he can do them. He's definitely improved so much this year - almost all of his performances have been something he can be proud of this year. So much more consistent than in years past

You jinxed him just the one fall and the scratchy last combo, but everything else was beautiful. It's such a shame that he was in that big hole after the short, because this program was utterly magnificent save for that one error, I love his spins so much.


oh Roman very emotional at the end of that program . He really gave this free program his all, it was the most calm and collected I've ever seen him skate. I wonder if this is his last Nationals

I like Roman's jump layout, having the 2A at the end makes it easy to tack on a combo.

With the fall on the 2nd quad salchow, I think that it would not be enought to go to the Olympic. But, great effort Roman ! 2nd or 3rd place is for him surely !
