2026 Olympics Practices

Jackie has been posting practice PbPs since 2/1. Sessions seem to be grouped for the team event & offer some clues about who will be skating what. Amber was practicing her SP jumps & Alysa was running all her jumps, so likely slated for LP. And, of course, Isabeau not at practice.

In the men, Ilia was the only USA male at today’s practice; interesting! Maybe he has changed his mind & now will do both segments?

update: I just noticed Carrillo listed in Ilia’s session & he’s not doing team event, so maybe this was just an open practice & the other USA guys will go later.

Didn't someone mention that practice sessions could be viewed somehow - anyone know? I could have sworn someone mentioned a link exists in a U.S. skating thread, but I don't know which U.S. thread. Any help would be appreciated.

I noticed on a person's practice notes. For USA they only have Alyssa's and Amber's practices not Isabella.
Is there a reason or didn't she show up.
I thought maybe because she has family she practices on another rink

Is the implication that they are the women from the U.S. that will be skating team.

If are where may I find information on team because. Kaori is the only one for Japan and no other skaters for other countries outside of Maddie for Canada. ?

Thank for the information anyway. It is great

There are still training practice tiles on Peacock hidden in the Figure Skating folder of Xfinity, but no sign that they are going up. I will keep looking.

Ellie Kam is struggling mightily in practice right now with landing throws. There have been several attempts and several falls and she looks really discouraged. I did just see her hold onto a throw 3loop. Not a good sign for Team USA. :(

This is why Team USA really needs Ilia to skate both the SP and FS to have the best chance at team gold.

Conti/Macii looked very solid in practice considering everything they have been through with her injury. They are so spirited in practice; at times it looks like they are arguing with each other, but they have plenty of passion and flair. This team is not my favorite, but I am cheering for them to medal here at home, whether in the team event or individual event. I am still very sour about the GPF title that was stolen from them in December.
