2026 BC/YT Super Series High Performance | Jun 11-14

Watching right now!!
Feels weird to kick off our season.

Is Calissa’s score good? 128.89.
She left off the salchow….
With the rule changes, I have no idea how the scores hold up anymore. One less jumping pass right? Why did Calissa leave a jump off on the combo?
Aren’t you allowed three jumps in one of the combos? I’m confused 😵‍💫

Also, two ChSq1 in the protocol sheet is confusing… I hope they abbreviate these two elements differently.

Loving the score graphic though. I hope they keep it like this..
Yes, you can still have one three jump combo or sequence. There are 6 jumping passes now instead of 7 and, for juniors, the choreo spin seems to have replaced one of the other spins.

@saine are they going to adjust the technical score needed for sectionals to reflect the changes, and also the overall score needed to be sent out to international competitions?

Six jumping passes with two combos. I think Calissa usually has a 2T-2Lo combo and I think it was probably meant to go with the opening 3Lz that she fell on. It may have been safer to go with two jump combos instead.

I'm waiting for the rules to be updated, I think they'd have to be adjusted for qualifying to Challenge. One less combo would be pretty significant for the skaters who are aiming for that level.

William Chan isn’t ready for JGP. He needs to put is some serious work prior to NextGen

So.. asking for a friend here.... the new rules : everyone knew about them a while back so that they could create their program already ? I thought the ISU council this week was confirming these... but they were already confirmed ? What's the time line ?
