2026 BC/YT Super Series High Performance | Jun 11-14

So.. asking for a friend here.... the new rules : everyone knew about them a while back so that they could create their program already ? I thought the ISU council this week was confirming these... but they were already confirmed ? What's the time line ?
The rules were confirmed in 2024 congress when they delayed them to come into effect for 2026-27 season. The technical rules came out before congress so they weren't going to make any major changes there.

Thanks ! So we already knew but everyone is acting surprised now :)

I don't like this program for Uliana. It's non-descript. It won't help her to stand out.

I wonder if the 2a is a place holder for a triple or just a nice way to enter the program with an easier jump.

Where was her 3-3 supposed to be ?

Yes. I think the flip she popped is where her 3F 3T usually goes

so what is Skate Canada doing with their domestic scores to get out ? do we know already ?

I hadn't studied the rules well enough. Juniors surprised me. I thought the choreo spin would replace a jump like in seniors, but they have removed a jump and a spin.
see, I didn't know that either. So now, they only do one leveled spin ... NOT good.

The Juniors are doing three spins (two leveled + one choreo), so it's the same changes for them as the Seniors. It looks confusing on the protocols since they mark the choreo spin as a choreo sequence.

I've been refreshing for those, nothing yet. Based on the new requirement they added to Synchro selection for 2025-26, I do think they may be adding a short program TES requirement that has to be met under Skate Canada monitoring.
