Very secure skate by Vika, the spiral was gorgeous. The program isn't bad, I think she'll be able to sell it well for the entirety of the program later on in the season.

too bad for Téa. I have to say though that she looks extremely promising. The jumps will be powerful and gorgeous when mastered. There is something about her I really like. Maybe she reminds me of a cross between Cynthia and Fée Ann ???

The jumps just didn't materialise for Téa at all today, but I like the dress and the program concept. I think it's a little much for her at this point, but skaters have to be challenged to develop and she may well grow into it as the season progresses.

Good energy from Téa HÉBERT. I like the classical choice for her. Mistakes will hurt of course, but I enjoyed her. I love anyone named after a favorite beverage too!

that dog . I figured out what they are doing wrong with the score box.... Where they put the GOE in green, it's already the score of the BV and GOE. So you can look at that and not the total that is misleading.

in French it doesn't sound like thé (tea) though and I believe it comes from the root Theos which means god. So Téa is a goddess rather than a beverage.

The jumps were unfortunately off today, it looks like she may have grown some (which also happened to another one of my girls, who is currently not jumping at all because she's going through a growth spurt).

Bravo to Reese for upgrading her combo even if it's not yet fully rotated.

I remember Reese, she had such a great sp last year. I think I will grow to like this one as well. Her double axel was so nice! She is a really strong skater, combo was under but its July and stamina will get better.
