She is the real deal. I got Yamaguchi vibes from her.

This was the Volkova sister that was out last year with injury I think. She definitely looks stronger so hopefully she is healed now. I think this music worked well for her.

Okay, Aleksa is still finding her consistency, but that wasn't bad. For some reason, the Axel is always the jump that gives her the most issues and she didn't escape that fate today either :/

Sofia has the long torso and limbs and posture of an ice-dancer. She seems a bit slow but capable.

Sofia is another one of the new Juniors, and I think the 3Lz may be a new addition to her jumps arsenal? There is certainly some work to be done on the spins and the step sequence, but with time and guidance, she could end up really using her long limbs to her advantage.

Off to a rough start for Lulu. Her jumps are still giving her trouble. She was such a star a few years ago. She got so much more energy once the jumps are done, I wonder if a switch to ice dance is possible for her.

Also can they please fix the mic issues, it sounds like someone is rubbing against the mic or something.

Poor Lulu - this is turning out to be a rough skate for her. The jumps are a day late and a dollar short. The spins and the presence are still there, but it is going to take some time for her to adapt to some growing pains. Please be patient with yourself my dear.

A hot pink fever has overtaken Gabrielle. She has nice power and presence for her height. Will one of these girls give me less fever and more Twin Peaks please...

I feel like I remember this dress, did she use this program last season as well? Anyway, this was a really good skate for Gabrielle. The Lutz was great and eventhough it wasn't perfect, the 3T+3T is an upgrade. Well done.

Really like how Lia Cho has added more flow to her jumps to maximize the GOEs and improved her skating skills and transitions. Program also suits her youthfulness. A waltz is exactly the right pick for a lighthearted whimsy vibe, very good packaging. Excited to see her debut on the JGP circuit and win over even more fans (with her scuba in the K & C )
