While checking the spellings of names for a post in another thread, I discovered that Philomène SABOURIN is on Ice Partner Search. Which means that the Ice Dancer partnership Philomène SABOURIN / Raúl BERMEJO (ESP) has split.

Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really loved them, and thought they were so promising. In fact, I was planning to make a Fan Fest for them once I am finished working on the threads I am currently updating

Ach, that's the second time now I've been caught out like that. A partnership splitting before I get their Fan Fest finished.

I found it through a doing Google search (as I said, I was checking the spelling of her name). But I just did the search within IPS where you don't put in any criteria and, right enough, she didn't come up in the results.

So, it may be a case that the profile is left over from before she got together with Raúl, and it is not supposed to be still up. There fact that there are no pictures of her (just videos) does seem strange.

Oh, I hope this is the case. I REALLY like them! (Hence why I want to adopt them).

The new IPS is awful. So, I wouldn't be surprised if there were glitches.

Right, with all this in mind, could they be removed again from the OP?

This skater last updated her IPS page in 2023.
IIRC, when six months have passed since a skater last updated her/his page, IPS usually removes it from the public site.
I think you are correct that it is a glitch that this page somehow still is viewable.

This skater last updated her IPS page in 2023.

I know, I should have read through the profile. I saw that the page was up and panicked.

If I had scrolled down and seen the names of the coaches, then I would have known straight away that it was out of date. But I didn't.

Lesson learnt.

IIRC, when six months have passed since a skater last updated her/his page, IPS usually removes it from the public site.

And that was why I panicked, because I knew that they take the profiles down if they haven't been updated within a certain amount of time (didn't know exactly how long it was, so thank you for the figure).

Yeah, unfortunately glitches often happen when websites get updated. We know that from experience on here.

Not that IPS needed a redesign. It was perfectly fine the way it was. In fact, it was better the way it was!

It's hard to beat tables for looking through data in a database...

The weirdest thing about this is that he already posted this last week, but the post was gone from his profile not even an hour later. Sounds messy to me.
