Mens SP

I'm not a huge fan of Patrick, but some people here should feel ashamed of themselves right about now...

I do. A tiny bit. And I don't get the judges. At all!

Lysacek and Joubert the highest PCS? And Taka, Patrick and Tomas were all on. That I don't get.

Weird that an American audience took it upon themselves to boo. That was unexpected. Hopefully someone Nancy Kerrigan's Patrick on the way out so y'all can throw a party and congratulate yourselves.

I told you so. I guess judges read papers these days. Chan should have kept his mouth shut. And god Scott and Sandra, another judge bashing?

I guess all the whining about Patrick's scores worked!

So, if I whine enough about the Japanese boys getting underscored will the judges see the light..?

*WHINE*WHINE*WHINE*WHINE*WHINE*WHINE*WHINE*WHINE*WHINE*

Rinse, repeat.

Also, Przemek Domański! *MINOR WHINE*

The worst part is Patrick received lower Choreography and Transition scores then Brian and Evan. How does that happen? Nobody has better transitions then Patrick.

Ok I want all of the 'bad vibes' to go away and we are all going to have a group hug and set aside all of our skater prefrences OK?

I love how Patrick was, "Great!" while everyone was booing. What a good sport he is.

A quad shouldn't make up the majority of the points in your program. Sheesh, Patrick should have been at least in 2nd, considering how Evan's program was watered down from SA.

Now that he'sskating, I don't get gis outfit... why he didn't get all the bones?? because it would look silly?

I really dont get the judges. When they should give Patrick high scores, they undermark him. All this does not give them credibility if their scores during major competitions differ so much!!! He really deserved more than 82.

This is ridiculous,

Joubert skating is far behind Patrick for sure.

This sports is not going far with those types of judging!

C'est ridicule !!

I'm one of those praying that Chan would not get overscored a là 4CC. But tonight he was sooo much better than Joubert and Lysacek (JMO).

Because wanting someone to fall = having no class, which is what you wished for! What you want is for everyone to skate the best they can and let the juges decide what happens!

Me also wishing for somebody to fall comes from me joking and knowing that he is one of the best and rarely comes behind. I would have easily had him in first in this short program. I don't appreciate people telling me that I should be ashamed and that I have no class after reading something that I wrote on a forum. How do you know that I wasn't kidding or being sarcastic. Before you insult people, realize that reading something is VERY different than hearing something. I am actually rooting for Patrick to do well (not as well as my favorite skater) and I want him to get a medal.

Maybe they want Joubert to win so he'll move on and make room for the others...Maybe it's all a big pre planned set up for a tumultuous fight in the LP....I don't get it either, I'm grasping at straws.

I have to say I don't understand all the hating on Chan. He does have real skating skills, among the best going. Joubert has a quad or two at times and ..... he pretends to hump the air.

 The first time I saw his short I couldn't stop laughing. Honestly, half of the reason the audience claps for him and cheers is because they are women and he presents himself like a Chippendales dancer. Honestly...he had a 6 pack sewn on to his long program outfit last year...

I'm actually a bit surprised people are sticking up for Chan after all the crap that was being thrown at him just hours ago. I don't think Chan did his best. He looked a tad bit slow to me and didn't sell it like he normally does. I still thought his marks were a bit wonky though. I don't think Brian deserves the lead he has.
