Mens' LP

As much as it kills me to agree with Scott and Sandra, everything in between the elements was so superb and the mistakes so minor that the program should still score very high.

Still an awesome score though. Not a perfect performance but as I said, sublime.

ETA - so cute again, shushing the 'yay Canada' chanters in the audience.

I am sorry but I do not like Patrick's skating and that pretty much put me to sleep and the fact that he did double jumps....just makes me Blah....come on HIGH technically is required double jumps should not be allowed or rewarded with an over score of 155 and final score of 237 what the?

Im sure Chan got plenty +2s in imo for alot of those jumps and elements. They were flawless.

great great skating of Chan, I loved his speed among others, it feels like exhibition though, his jumps are ugly, no height and no style :ohwell:

Hey it's an improvement from last year for Chan. Save it for the Olympics and for the rest of career.

His missed his 3A combo because of his free leg. Sad that he won't win but it's certainly one of the better performances tonight. What would it take for some clean landings on triples?

Chan's jump landings are butter. Nice flowing deep edge and rather quiet, let alone effortless. Can't say the same about many of his other competitors, save for Kozuka and Oda.

Says the person with Tim Geobel icon.

Way to go Patrick!! After all the problems he has had this season with his triple axel he comes out and nails all three when it counts! I'm so proud of him!

Not likely Patrick will win, but I'm kinda glad - I don't want a teenager to have to have that kind of pressure (and curse) going in to the Olympics in his home country.

That said, I won't be sad if he DOES end up winning though...

So far a well skated (in general) event, which was my big wish.
