Did you know that this newspaper was the official organ of the Central Committee in the Soviet Union? They published all the propaganda, the official statements etc. These days it's the main tabloid in Russia, I think. Posting tasteless news about the Paris Hiltons of Russia, all the figure skating scandals - basically everything apart from critical news about the Kremlin & Co, and apart from stuff that requires a certain intellectual level. Gotta love capitalism.
