Good bad night. So sad for Jeremy and Chan. I'm even sad for Brian. Wow...the hurt they must feel.

It seems like the middle flight was the best flight of the night. Final group was a let down. I have to see the replay tonite on NBC and watch Evan's and Michal's performances.

Go Daisuke and Stephane! 2 out of 3 ain't bad! But if Evan wins, I'll be okay with it.

Very very sad about Jeremy I kind of saw it coming; skating after Lysacek brought down the house.

Indeed; my two least favorite skaters on top.. but they did earn it... What are the chances of everyone? Is the battle for gold and silver only amongst the top three? Are Oda, Lambiel, Chan, Weir fighting for bronze?

Biggest disappointments; Joubert, Verner and Abbott. How dramatic.

Yeah, I can't say I'm surprised though. Gosh, Joubert and Verner have already had bad seasons though. Hope they rock it at worlds. Brezina's score should have been higher, now that all the results are in, Lambiel was grossly overscored. He did not skate that well and he's above all these guys who skated clean. If I had to guess what will happen in the long, Plushy will win, Evan in 2nd, Dai will tank, Weir and Lambiel won't be up to snuff to medal, and Oda and Chan will battle for the bronze. All speculation though. Even though my three favorites bombed, I hope Joubert, Verner, and Abbott bring it in the free.

I don't get this evening/night at all. It began so good! Then... I dont know what happend. I just sit here with a blackscreened TV and some papers with lots of numbers on that I dont understand. I just feel... empty, not thrilled as I hoped for. I hope that will be change 2 days from now. I think it's time to go to bed and try to forget the worst.

I thought there was some bad judging: wuzrobbing and wuzgifted all over the place.

So sad for Jeremy Abbott. He's one of my faves and I felt just awful for him. Hated that the judges didn't give him the PCS for the beautiful program because of the missed jumps. The PCS shouldn't be elevated or deflated based upon the TES unless jump errors put a damper on the whole program. Some people had people high PCS with weak programs and Jeremy had the reverse.

Evan Lysacek was fantastic. He deserves his scores and frankly, I think the overall quality of his skating was better than Plushenko's. His hard work was well worth it nd I hope he can continue to do well Thursday night. Jeremy Abbott, is a superb skater but obviously had problems tonite. I hope he can let go of this and just skate his heart out for the LP. He has another Olympics in him. Snadra Bezic has done a first rate job of commentating. Scottie too. The judging wasn't horrible (I am amazed) although I believe Johnny's scores were too low and that's even allowing for the edge call on the flip. He should have been higher.

I love how they don't even MENTION Johnny Weir in the wrap-up.
They keep talking about the top 3, like there is no one else in the competition. This coverage is terrible.

I'm so sorry for Jeremy Abbott How could that happen? Sad for Patrick, too. I didn't expect him to win any medal but he could have skated to his best if he had focused. Too much hype and media attention ruined him. He was not in the zone at all, all smiling, flirting with the judges, showing off his footwork, bad approach.
Sorry for Joubert, what a sad night that would be for him, Thomas, and Jeremy. Me too wish them to skate their best LP

Happy for Denis Ten, Florent, and Dai. Johnny Weir delivered too, good for him! The top two did a great job and deserve to be there. Good luck for everybody in the LP
