I don't think so, a couple of her jumps were short and unlike Alena, she doesn't have much personality on the ice yet.

Meite is painful to watch! Her basics and speed are so weak.

Well, some of Ira's jumps did look short, but I think her spins were superior to Alena's. I agree with you on Ira's lack of personality, though.

Makarova's LP has been her downfall this season; it's too bad because the judges would give her the results if she would just deliver considering she's such a strong SP skater. She seems to have the Cohen syndrome.

Makarova's LP is a terrible program and she was scored quite generously.
